I’m Linsey, thank you for taking the time to check out,  ‘Tell me about your tattoo’ a project looking at people, their tattoos and the stories behind them, from the serious to the silly, shallow to the deep, colourful to the curious.

Born from a combination of curiosity, love of photography, people, conversations, tattoos and their stories, along with uniqueness and perspectives on the world. We all have stories, some fun, some traumatic, some we tell ourselves and some we wear on our sleeves, quite literally and others you have to dig deeper.

Day to day, it’s often easy to forget, we are all human, work titles, material things, wealth, status, the hierarchy which exists, often silently in our society which can divide, however, scratch the surface and we are all connected by our similarities more than our differences, through our stories, challenges and experiences (and we could all learn something from someone given the opportunity).

One could say those who have lived the best life are the ones with the best stories to tell.

The stories which shape us, make us all human and ultimately connected.
